Who This Is For
Used clothing and shoes from the United States are in demand across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Eastern Europe, and most of it moves the same way: in full containers bought by importers, wholesalers, and market traders who sell it on at home. If you buy by the container for resale overseas, this is how buying from RawBales works.
What You Can Load
- ·Raw credential clothing — 100% unsorted, ungraded donated clothing in 800–1,100 lb bales, exactly as collected. $0.59/lb (about $1.30/kg).
- ·Credential shoes — unsorted donated footwear by the full load. Priced per load on request.
Every order is a full 40,000 lb load — about 18 metric tons. Order one load, several, or a standing monthly schedule. Nothing is sorted or picked over before it's loaded, so the best pieces are still in the load when it reaches your port. See why raw beats graded.
How Pricing and Freight Work
Product and ocean freight are quoted separately. Tell us your destination port and we'll quote the freight to get the container there, so you can compare your all-in landed cost against what you pay locally. Here's how to figure landed cost per pound.
Documents to Expect
- ·Commercial invoice
- ·Packing list with bale count and weights
- ·Bill of lading
- ·Any certificates your country requires for used goods — some destinations ask for fumigation or other certificates, so tell us up front
