What is a raw credential bale?

A raw credential bale is donated clothing pulled directly from nonprofit bins or donation routes, compressed into a roughly 800–1,100 lb block wrapped in wire or strapping. Raw means nothing has been done to it — no sorting, no picking, no culling, no grading. What came off the truck is what's in the bale. Raw credentials are the highest-demand product in the secondary market because the buyer gets first pick of everything. We sell them only by the full 40,000 lb load — roughly 36 to 50 bales.

Is this the same as credential clothing?

Yes. "Credential clothing," "credential bales," and "raw credentials" all describe the same product: unsorted donated clothing sold wholesale by the pound, exactly as it was collected. Every clothing bale we sell is 100% raw credential clothing — never pre-sorted, never graded.

Do you sort or grade the bales?

No. Every bale we ship is 100% raw and untouched. We don't pull cream, we don't separate fiber, we don't run anything across a grading line. The moment we start picking through it, it stops being raw credentials — and that's the entire reason buyers come to us. If you want pre-sorted product, we're not the right supplier.

What is the minimum order?

One full load: 40,000 lbs. We don't sell single bales, partial loads, or shared loads — every order is a full 40,000 lb trailer or container going to one buyer. Submit your order request and a rep will be in touch with a firm quote and ship date. Most orders are confirmed and scheduled within 1–2 business days.

Who do you sell to?

Accepted Answer

Businesses buying at volume: warehouses, sorting and grading facilities, wholesalers and distributors, rag houses, and exporters and importers overseas. If you can't take a full 40,000 lb load — at your dock or in a container — we're not the right fit.

Do you sell shoes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We sell credential shoes — unsorted donated footwear, exactly as collected — by the full 40,000 lb load, for shoe wholesalers, sorters, and exporters in the US and overseas. Shoe loads are priced per load; submit a request and a rep will quote it.

Do you ship overseas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We load containers for importers and wholesalers overseas — clothing and shoes, full loads only. Give us your country and destination port on the request form and we'll quote container freight to it. Import permits, duties, and customs clearance in your country are typically handled by the buyer, and some countries restrict used clothing and shoe imports, so check your local rules before ordering.

How is pricing determined?

Raw credential clothing runs $0.55–$0.64/lb (about $1.21–$1.41/kg) for a full 40,000 lb load — $22,000–$25,600 per load before freight. Where you land in that range depends on volume and shipping schedule, and it is worth a conversation. No tiers and no small-order markups. Shoe loads are priced per load. Freight is quoted separately based on your delivery ZIP or destination port. When you submit an order request, a rep will be in touch with a firm all-in quote.

How is freight handled?

Every order ships as a full load — a dedicated 53' trailer (FTL) within the US, or a container for export — and we book the carrier. Domestic buyers need a loading dock and a forklift to receive a full load. We ask about your receiving setup on the request form so we book the right equipment.

Do you offer recurring orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most of our accounts run standing loads on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule. A standing order gets you priority allocation on each run, plus consistent pricing even when spot prices move. Select the recurring option on the request form and we'll set it up.

Where do you source from?

We're based in Southern California and source heavily from SoCal donation routes — but our sourcing network and warehouses are nationwide. Whatever state you're in, we can source it. Every bale comes off the same standard so you know what you're getting every time.
