What are credential shoes
Credential shoes are donated footwear sold wholesale exactly as collected: unsorted, ungraded, and unpicked. Like credential clothing, the value is that the buyer sorts and grades at their own end and keeps the best pairs.
A full shoe load is 40,000 lbs, about 18 metric tons, loaded into a container for overseas buyers or a trailer for US buyers.
Pricing
Shoe loads are priced per load, not per pound. Send a request with your destination and how many loads you need, and a rep will return a firm quote. Ocean freight to your port is quoted separately.
Who buys used shoes by the container
- ·Importers and market wholesalers reselling footwear overseas
- ·Shoe sorters and graders buying raw for their own operations
- ·Exporters combining shoe and clothing loads on a standing schedule
Before you order
Rules on used shoe imports vary by country, and some destinations restrict or ban them. Check with your customs broker before you order. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading. Permits, duties, and clearance are the buyer's responsibility.
